Every Friday Evening in March SMY will be offering special events to raise money for the American Cancer Society. We have a fantastic lineup of teachers and classes and we hope you will join us for one or all. 100% of donations will go to the American Cancer Society to support their efforts in supporting cancer patients, research and raising awareness. These classes are a celebration of LIFE and an opportunity to practice for those we’ve lost or those who have suffered the ravages of cancer. Yogis Unite! Let’s Beat IT!

A rhythmic Kundalini Practice. This is a strong moving meditation that will allow you to truly focus on your breath and the present moment. Kundalini is generally a great practice for most students but not safe for those with a compromised nervous system. Annie is Omaha’s most experienced Kundalini instructor, her classes are fresh and exciting. Donation Only. Register
March 14, 6:45-8 pm
Mandy and Maude partner up for this hybrid practice fusing Yin and Vinyasa Styles. Movement is gentle enough for newer yogis but deep enough to satisfy more seasoned practitioners. We’ll explore the duality of our nature through movement and breath: dark and light, cool and warm, restlessness and repose. An investigation through the senses. Mandy is SMY’s owner and president, she’s Omaha’s most experienced Yin instructor and has been developing the fusion of Yin and Yang for a couple of years into a gradual honing of sensitivity for each student in every class. Maude teaches Yin classes at SMY and is a passionate student and teacher of Hot Yoga. Her quest for balance leads to creative expression on the mat. Donation Only. Register
March 21, 5:15-6:45 pm
